What is the cost of treatment?
The fee for your endodontic treatment will be based on the extent of treatment required. Several factors determine the extent of treatment including the number of canals within a tooth and the complexity of the situation. During your first visit we will discuss the probable number of visits, their length, and the fees involved. Endodontic fees usually range from $790 to $1,500. Because of the unique nature of our practice and the specialized kinds of cases we treat, an accurate estimate of the costs involved is only possible following a comprehensive examination.
Financial Policy
Payment for endodontic services is due in full at the time treatment is initiated unless other arrangements have been made prior to the appointment date. For your convenience, we accept personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also accept CareCredit, the nation's leading patient payment plan. For Patient's With Insurance Coverage
As a courtesy we will contact your insurance company to determine an estimate for treatment. Your estimated portion will be due at the time treatment is initiated and we will file your insurance claim for you.
Please realize that insurance companies routinely indicate that verbal coverage verification over the phone does not guarantee payment from the insurance company. This is usually due to an issue with your insurance company withholding information from our office. We use the information provided by your insurance company to estimate your out-of-pocket portion of payment. When payment from your insurance company is received and applied to your account, any balance due will be billed to you and any overpayment will be refunded.
For patient's requiring an exact estimate on insurance coverage, we can submit a written per-determination for treatment to your insurance company. Response time from insurance companies varies and may take several weeks or longer for a reply.
Follow-up Visits
The initial post-operative office visit is included in your endodontic fee. Additional follow-up visits may be required and will be charged at our standard rate.
Cancellation of Appointments
Please give at least 24 hours notice if change of appointment is necessary, otherwise a charge may be applied.
