What to Expect At Your Initial Visit
Your visit in our office will begin with a comprehensive consultation and
examination. At that time, we will examine the area, take diagnostic films
(x-rays), decide whether your tooth is in need of root canal therapy, and
review your treatment options.
If endodontic therapy is indicated we will discuss the probable number and
length of treatment visits required for your particular case. Most
non-complicated cases can usually be completed in one visit of 60 to
90 minutes. More complicated cases typically require additional treatment
appointments.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your
consultation:
- Your treatment referral slip and any X-rays if applicable
- A list of medications you are currently taking
- Dental insurance information.
